Exploring the Effectiveness of Immersive Virtual Reality for Project Scheduling in Construction Education

چکیده

The emergence of immersive technologies, such as virtual reality (VR) headsets, has revolutionized the way we experience physical world by creating a virtual, interactive environment. In field education, this technology immense potential to provide students with safe and controlled environment in which real-world scenarios that may be otherwise unfeasible or unsafe. However, limited research exists on effectiveness integrating technologies into technical education delivery. This investigated use (IVR) university-level construction management courses, focus IVR traditional for project planning control. experiment involved comparing students’ learning understanding subject matter using set two-dimensional drawings critical path method (CPM)-based schedule, without an findings suggested significantly improved ability understand concepts identify any errors sequence when compared teaching methods. paper presents details comparative analysis both approaches terms planning, sequencing, scheduling.
